As Director of Public Policy at Shared Hope International, Christine Raino leads the management of Protected Innocence Challenge research and advocacy, with particular focus on policy initiatives related to access to services for juvenile sex trafficking victims and victim-centered approaches to demand enforcement. Raino directs legislative advocacy efforts to further the protection of child victims and has authored research on emerging topics related to juvenile sex trafficking. Christine is a licensed attorney and practiced law in Washington, DC after graduating from the Washington College of Law at American University. Christine’s background working with victims of human trafficking began before law school at the International Institute of Boston, where she assisted refugees, asylees and victims of trafficking in achieving self-sufficiency through federal and state resettlement programs.
